I’m Sarah! An Oregon photographer who is dedicated to capturing life's precious moments (I like to call them glimmers ✩) through my lens. From adventurous elopements to heartfelt portraits, my goal is to freeze time, & take photos that make you feel something.
I'm mama to two littles that keep me busy during the day ♡ In the evenings you can catch me behind my camera! I love the magical light during golden hour, which occurs just after sunrise and before sunset ☾𖤓 It adds a warm and soft glow to images. I find joy in connecting with my clients and capturing their authentic emotions.
As your photographer, I provide a boho style. I'm all about capturing those spontaneous, magical moments in a way that feels free-spirited. I love to play with natural light, creating a dreamy vibe that feels like magic. I want my photos to evoke emotion & to tell your story. why Sky & Kai ?
I started my photography journey to capture the glimmers all around us. The name Sky & Kai is a nod to those glimmers - sky, symbolizing the ever changing canvas above, and kai, meaning ocean, representing the emotion I aim to capture in every photograph. But this name holds even more significance to me. ‘Sky’ is my daughter’s middle name, a reminder of her light, and the infinite possibilities that lie ahead. ‘Kai’ is my son’s name, a nod to the ocean and its strength, depth, and calm.
